In the district of Moma, Solidariedade Moçambique delivered to the Administrator of that district, Chale Ossufo, several articles to reinforce protection measures such as, Three hundred leaflets, Twenty-one posters with A3 format, a CD containing spots in Emakwa and Portuguese with open scenes , three hundred and fifty homemade masks, Five hundred bars of soap and three hundred buckets with tap.
Chale Ossufo thanked that noble gesture of solidarity Mozambique and, as he explained, that association has been embracing the district government for several years to form a team between the executive and the community, in the mediation of conflicts.”I thank you on behalf of the government and these materials will help us to overcome this invisible enemy, which has been worrying the government”, he said.That leader said that in order to fight this pandemic, everyone’s effort is needed and this article comes at a good time because, in his opinion, it will reinforce prevention and hygiene in the communities.
Chale Ossufo, lamented the fact that the province of Nampula is increasing cases, thus overcoming the oldest provinces to register this disease. “I am sorry that we are reaching a frightening level where the level of coronavirus contamination in our province is sailing at a great speed” -Lamented.
According to Osvaldo Milicinho, program officer at SOLDMOZ, the donation of these items in the district of Moma comes to increase hygiene in health facilities as well as in other places that they find convenient. Milicinho, explained that even if the district does not have confirmed cases of the new corornavirus there was a need to support it as a way to fight against this evil. “We started to distribute these sanitation materials in this district even if there was no case, but we hope that these communities continue to prevent themselves as much as possible based on these materials that we leave here” – he said.
